Kearny Bank named Cassia Beierle as general counsel, the financial institute announced Oct. 19. She is based in Kearny's Fairfield corporate office. Beierle's legal support for the bank includes corporate, regulatory, risk management and employment issues. 'Providing effective legal counsel to a bank the size and scope of ours requires very specific expertise and experience,' Kearny Bank President and CEO Craig Montanaro said in the hiring announcement. 'I'm confident Cassia's professional background fits well with our requirements, and look forward to her support and direction.
