Nostalgia: Jersey Shore visitors share stories of beach, games Long-time Jersey Shore visitors share their childhood memories If the post-apocalyptic zombie terrain of "The Walking Dead" spin-off "Dead City" looks familiar, there's a reason for that. It was filmed in New Jersey. The new 'Dead City,' which debuts on Sunday, June 18, on AMC, was filmed at multiple locations in the Garden State, including Newark, the Meadowlands Arena in East Rutherford, and Central Jersey, according to the New Jersey Motion Picture & Television Commission.
