Verona resident Sean Byrnes has been elevated by Kearny Bank to the position of Executive Vice President / Deputy Chief Financial Officer. Byrnes, who's based at the bank's Fairfield corporate office, will assume a larger role in strategy development, investor relations, and balance sheet management. Previously Kearny Bank's Senior Vice President / Chief Accounting Officer, he'll continue to be responsible for corporate accounting, including income tax, financial and regulatory reporting, financial planning and analysis, accounting policy, and the allowance for credit losses.
